Recognising Sterling Contributions

The Governor General Achievement Awards (GGAA) honours outstanding Jamaican youth aged 18-35 years who have made sterling contributions to the development of their communities. The GGAA forms part of the Governor General’s Programme for Excellence (GGPE) and honours outstanding Jamaicans who are not already recipients of National Awards and Honours.

The Victoria Mutual Group has supported the GGAA programme since its inception in 1991, as it is a firm believer in empowering the youth to build a winning spirit for a victorious life. The Victoria Mutual Group has supported the GGAA since its inception and will continue to support this initiative for many years to come.
